BRODKA'S ALBUM 'CLASHES' IS OUT TODAY
13/05/16

It's been an incredible couple of months for Polish wunder-gal Brodka who has been steadily building an army of fans outside her native Poland and today sees the release of Clashes, her first English-language album that follows a string of platinum-selling Polish LPs. First single 'Horses' already has over 1 million views on YouTube and second single 'Santa Muerte' is still lhotting up as we speak. An exclusive pre-stream and interview with Dazed & Confused has helped cement Brodka's status as one to watch. Here's what they (and some others) have to say about the album:

"Trips through spiritual rock music, orchestral pop, primal folk, scuzzy punk, and top notch balladry" - DAZED AND CONFUSED

"Dark and dystopian" - The FADER

"Palatial pop in the vein of a slinkier St. Vincent. Harbours the confidence
and immediacy of an artist fluent in every language under the sun" - DIY

"Otherworldy synth-pop with brittle gothic folk. Addictive, engaging and somehow uplifting" - LINE OF BEST FIT

"An artful, intelligent, and wildly ambitious piece of pop music" - CLASH

"Brooding, deeply spooky chamber-pop" - SUNDAY TIMES

"Brodka channels the stare-into-your-soul aspect of Robyn with utmost eloquence" - COOL HUNTING

"Pop music and Poland didn't necessarily correlate in our mind but now they do thanks to Brodka,
who has made an impressive start to her first English-language" - POP BUZZ
